The Rapture — When Is the Church Caught Up?
“Rapture” comes from the old Latin Bible’s translation of “caught up” in 1 Thessalonians 4:17 (Greek harpazō — to snatch away suddenly). Among premillennial believers, the question is where this falls relative to the seven-year tribulation of Daniel 9:27.

The Bereans “searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so” (Acts 17:11). Work through these with your Bible open — the load-bearing verses are quoted (NKJV); look the rest up yourself.
