The End Times

An interactive study of what the Bible teaches about the return of Jesus Christ — the events, the views held by Bible-believing Christians, and the passages to study for yourself

The Order of Events — Choose a View

Every view below is held by Christians who believe the Bible is God’s Word. Tap a view and watch the same biblical events re-order themselves — this is the clearest way to see exactly where the views agree and where they differ. Tap any event to open its Scriptures.

The Millennium — Revelation 20

Revelation 20 mentions “a thousand years” six times. Each view answers: what is it, and when? Each card gives the view’s best case honestly — and the strongest objection it must answer.

The Rapture — When Is the Church Caught Up?

“Rapture” comes from the old Latin Bible’s translation of “caught up” in 1 Thessalonians 4:17 (Greek harpazō — to snatch away suddenly). Among premillennial believers, the question is where this falls relative to the seven-year tribulation of Daniel 9:27.

Key Passages for Your Own Study

The Bereans “searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so” (Acts 17:11). Work through these with your Bible open — the load-bearing verses are quoted (NKJV); look the rest up yourself. Two rules: let clear passages interpret hard ones, and remember Deuteronomy 29:29 — the secret things belong to the LORD.

What’s Sure, What Depends, What’s Disputed

A study can be shared without embarrassment only if it marks where the ground is solid and where it is inference. Our picks are marked as picks — not as facts.
